Final assembly.electrical wiring etc.

Tail lights are the original cowl ligts, clear lenses and all, with red 21W bulbs.
There was no way a standard 5/21W vbulb would fit, so small red single filament bulbs with the foot print of standard 5W ones were ordered all the way from France.

´

Windsheld and visor mounted. This was fun work, since these two pieces have a huge impact on the look of the car.

Park/turn/brake light system.

This consists of two flasher relays four five-pring relays, four 5 Ohm resistors and six diodes to make four 21W single filament bulbs act as parking lights, turn lights and brake lights both front and back.

´

Head lights and turn/park lights mounted and connected.
(May 2026)

Finally the electricals are planned, mounted and done, except for the dash with its switches, warning lights and gauges.

´

The center of the dash board and all it's accessories being connected here.

Door cards are made from 3/32" plywood

´

The plywood had black paint brushed on

The rear fenders, aprons and running boards were mounted

´

The dash got everything connected, the clock turned into a tach, temp and fuel gauges, switches, buttons, warning lights and all.

Panels were made under the seats to make the inside look a bit more finished when the doors are open.

´

The front fenders mounted with the stainless steel decor around the exhaust primaries trial fitted.

Judgement day.
Two early thirties vehicles parked, waiting for inspection.
(June 2026)

´

The Buick passed the inspection and is now street legal.
Six and a half years in the works. Now it's just the inevitable small details that don't work like they should, fluid leaks and a ton of details that should be done and a lot more that probably won't be done.
