Starting the project, or just getting something to look at.

 

Coming first is the frame, sand blasted and in pretty good shape.

The body arrives. It's nothing much to it, really, just a pile of 80 years old American junk.
My 1960 Opel Rekord on the left.

As you see, the cowl area has been robbed of some sheet metal. The rear fender doesn't look too good either.

A dream come true: A Hot Rod project in my garage!
The frame is rolled into the garage, and the grille and an extra cowl are mocked up on it.
