Jeff in Saskatoon, Canada drives a 1929 essex 3 window rumble seat coupe.
-A rod with a bad Rattitude!

Jeff's Essex is under constant work and is being modified from time to time...

...As is evident in this more recent shot

It runs on a 1958 Chevy car frame with the original chevy rearend. A stock 305 Chevy engine and a turbo 350 transmission provide motivation for the original all steel Essex body which is topped off with a wood roof.

Front rims are 1955 Chev 15" x 5" powder coated red with 165 R 15 tires The rears are Wheel Vintique 15" x 10" custom built and red powder coated shod with pro-trac N-50 bias ply rubber. Old skool trim rings along with chrome lug nuts provide some sparkle.
Paint is Tremclad flat black spray bomb with old skool pinstripping done by fine lines (aka Dave Dunbar)

Rear fenders have been widened and a '58 Chev fuel tank added out in the rear of the car.
Interior consists of a Dodge caravan mini bench seat,a '58 chev steering column and wood floor in car. Custom tailights added and the rear bumpers are original.

Plans for this year (2010) are: install front fenders & running boards, chrome block hugger headers with dual exhaust. Install aluminum intake and new polished edelbrock carb(650cfm). Install carpet, door panels and roof liner.

Here's Jeffs Essex in an earlier pic on other wheels.

This looks like a lot of fun, and Jeff has a good time cruising his Essex.
